Stan De Longeaux speaks with Dennis James about bodybuilding, his future plans for Mr. Olympia 2022, his friendship with Shawn Rhoden, insights about accusations against him and more.
Stan de Longeaux finished in 10th place in the 2019 Olympia Classic Physique and now competes in the open.
When the French IFBB pro was 10 weeks out from competition with nearly 65 pounds to cut for a Classic Physique show in 2019, his trainer, Chris Aceto, made it clear to him that it was time to move on from the lighter division and continue to put on size and compete in Open. It seemed to have worked in 2021, with an impressive seventh-place finish at Reno’s Legion Sports Fest.
The Stanimal also explains his plans to spend the first six months of 2022 to grow in size for the Olympia.
