There are many myths about how to best create a higher biceps peak, the most prevalent of which is the belief that certain exercises can actually target the top of the muscle and therefore change its shape. However, this is impossible, as a muscle's shape is genetically determined and cannot be altered. In this video I have my client and top NPC Classic Physique competitor, Mark Durando, demonstrate several movements that will help to build and thicken the brachialis muscle, which lies underneath the biceps. By manifesting more size in the brachialis you can effectively "push" the biceps up higher, creating the illusion of a greater peak.
