With each role in a movie and especially one that is physically challenging, the actor has to prepare and work efficiently to achieve the optimum results in the shortest amount of time. Derick Neikirk explains his training approach to play the role of an MMA fighter. Not only does one have to look the part, the actor or stunt person has to have the stamina for shooting long days and the endurance needed for the fight scenes.
